District Wide Opportunities
Please check your school Web site for site specific volunteer opportunities. Thank you, and we are excited to have you as part of our team.
- Reading Buddies work with students to build reading skills at or above their grade level potential.
- Student Academic Mentors work with students who need additional help in other academic areas other than reading.
- Career Specialists work with high school students to research and prepare for post educational opportunities.
- Art Specialist would assist and teach classes which would assist in implementing an art program to those sites that still need it.
- Cross Walk Monitors assist the children walking and riding their bikes to school to arrive safely.
- Lunch Room Monitors assist in the lunchroom opening milks and guiding traffic or for the upper grades reminding the student to clean up after themselves and assisting in serving food at times.
- Tax Credit Advocates are persons who learn about the Tax Credit opportunity and advocates it for the school community.
- Special Event Greeters are those persons who come and be a friendly face and a helper at needed events.
- Tech Support Volunteers to assist the Technology Department in software rollover.
- Outreach Parents are persons who will mentor other parents who may need help understanding educational requirements needed for graduation, site orientation, program.
- Community Event Specialists will assist in district community events.
- Special Event Assistant will assist by fulfilling a special assignment for a particular site event.
